LICORES BAINES

NAVARRAN PACHARAN

This is a drink with a low alcohol content, between 25% and 30% per volume, made through a traditional method of macerating sloe berries. These provide a characteristic red colour and a fruity aroma and flavour. A delicate touch of anise and sugar round off the harmonious qualities of the Navarran Pacharan.

SLOE BERRIES

Sloe berries are the only fruit used in making Navarran Pacharan. These small, blue-black berries ripen in late summer, the appropriate time for maceration. The sloe bush (Prunus Spinosa, L.), is related to cherry and plum trees. It is found wild throughout Europe.
